We are a wholesale distributor of plumbing and heating supplies in Compton, CA and are proud to be one of more than 450 locations across the United States. We are seeking an individual who:

• Is smart, driven, and possess the drive to rise through our organization. A 4-year college degree is a plus!
• Can follow direction, develop skills by watching experienced employees, and can learn independently.
• Has a valid driver's license and is capable of lifting up to 75lbs.
• Comfortably cooperates within a team environment, and can work independently.
• Can make decisions independently by quickly gathering facts and weighing options based on expected results.
• Demonstrates a solid work ethic and can work up to 50 hours per week.
• Has a mechanical aptitude and an interest in acquiring residential/commercial plumbing product knowledge.
• Likes people, has strong verbal communication skills, and is dedicated to excellent customer service.
• A self-starter who enjoys contributing and executing creative ideas to grow a business.
• Possesses basic computer skills. Social networking familiarity is a plus!

We will train the right person in all aspects of our business. The individual we hire will start in the warehouse and will spend most of their day pulling customer orders and receiving incoming material. As this individual masters the warehouse duties, their role will expand to learning counter sales and purchasing where they will gain product knowledge by shadowing our experienced team members. While gaining skills in these roles, this individual will play a key part in growing our business through excellent customer service and will help with contributing ideas to expand our market share. Once they have shown their ability to be a top performer in the warehouse and in counter sales, the next step is an opportunity to move to inside or outside sales. In addition, this individual will be responsible for heading up special marketing and customer driven projects. We envision this employee as capable of performing all aspects of our business within 4 to 6 years. The potential for upward movement toward a management or leadership role at this location, or one of Hajoca’s many other locations can be obtained based on individual drive and determination.

Our compensation package includes a salary of $17 - $20 per hour plus profit sharing. Benefits include Profit Sharing, Retirement Savings Plan, 401(k), medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, life insurance, and paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.
