About the Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor role is responsible for working directly with both our Sales and Operations Teams to tackle tasks such as resolving customer issues, assisting in inventory planning, and increasing overall business. This position is full-time, Monday – Friday, and wages start $55,000/annually – based on experience. We are seeking an individual who preferably has a background in the transportation/logistics/warehouse industry.

Responsibilities & Functions:

• Work alongside warehouse team in support of completing all daily tasks.
• Coordinate product deliveries to customers with the warehouse personnel daily.
• Including picking, packing of orders, receiving, local delivery, LTL and FTL shipments.
• Support warehouse manager and team, directing tasks to be completed.
• Establishes and develops long-term business relationship with co-workers, customers, and vendors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and profit.
• Interacts with other departments to resolve customer service issues or requests.
• Keeps Sales Team and Operations aware of changes in the market, customers, and potential opportunities.
• Assists in the inventory planning function by providing accurate and timely input on trends.
• Research requested parts for availability to fulfill sales orders in a timely manner as per the customer requirement.
• Provide input to the Operations Team for inventory planning of the location – ensuring availability of product while assisting to realize supply efficiencies.
• Support Sales Team and Operations by serving all customer accounts when the situation demands.
• Back up to warehouse manager during limited availability (PTO as an example, or out of office meetings).
• Learn all segments of the business, including our internal operating system as well as the customer service side of our business.
• Potential for advancement within is available to the right candidate.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Previous experience working in a Warehouse environment
• Previous experience in a Supervisory/Management role
