Warehouse Supervisor/Assistant Facility Manager

Reports to Facility Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse workers
• Keep warehouse clean and in order, keep tanks labeled and fire extinguishers current; assist in keeping facility clean and in compliance
• Make sure all products are stocked in warehouse
• Package products for warehouse (drum or pail)
• Create and print drum and pail labels
• Transfer products exiting warehouse or being created in warehouse
• Verify all products entering warehouse (transfers in from Thibodaux or vendor)
• Schedule deliveries of product
• Make sure all waste oil/filters are manifested and removed from facility
• Assist Supply & Distribution Manager in ordering stock and supplies
• Enter product into computer system
• Create product codes in computer system
• Take monthly inventory of warehouse
• Research any shortage or overage from inventory
• Make sure all products pulled from warehouse are correct
• Gauge lube tanks weekly and submit to Thibodaux
• Perform forklift certification
• Assist in managing hours of service and pre and post trip inspections
• Assist in managing maintenance scheduling
• Assist in managing employee work hours and time sheets
• Fill in for Facility Manager in their absence
• Identify and report any safety incidents or accidents to Facility Manager immediately
• Take after hour and weekend calls
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
