Job Title: Warehouse/Production Associate

Reports To: Director of Operations
Supervises: This position has no supervisory responsibility

Job Summary:
FACTORFIVE is expanding the capabilities of our production and warehouse facility.
We are looking for a unique individual who has experience with shipping and receiving and can work on the production line. Ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys a fast paced environment and can multitask to meet deadlines.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Warehouse/Shipping Duties

• Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location
• Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received
• Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition
• Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management
• Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
• Organize and sort items on shelving, bins and overhangs according to company standards
• Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items
• Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped

Production/Manufacturing Duties

• Operate machinery to assist in the production process
• Assemble materials and equipment as required
• Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
• Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
• Conduct inspections and quality control of products
• Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required

Required Skills/Abilities:
● Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
● Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse
● Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory
● Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
● Customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard
● Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects
● Self-driven and hard worker
● Able to work eciently with minimal supervision
● Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Education and Experience:
● High school diploma or GED
● Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs
● Experience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferred, or ability to gain certification within 90 days of hire
● Familiar with production equipment and machinery

Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy
● Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
● Able to stand for long hours at a time
● Able to withstand hot temperatures in the production room

Job Type:
Full time

Salary Range:
$17-$19/hour depending on experience.

Benefits:
2 weeks of paid time off and a monthly healthcare stipend

Schedule:
Monday-Friday from 8:00 to 4:30 pm. Some overtime and weekends may be required.
There is some flexibility in the working schedule based on seasons.

Work Location:
Completely work-from-work at our plant location on Park Avenue in Chico. Occasionally this position will report to the lab, in Meriam Park, for meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
