We are looking to welcome a warehouse operative in our fantastic & ever-growing full serve team.

In the IKEA world, we call this position a Warehouse Co-worker.

Expected Starting Date: November 2022

WHAT WE OFFER
  • the current hourly rate is £10.10, and this will increase to £10.90 on 1st Jan 2023
  • Living Wage Foundation Employer

We have a mixture of contracts to suit your availability and create a work life balance:

30 hours over 5 days includes some weekend working.
20 hours over 4 days including 3 out of 4 weekends
16 hours over 4 days including 3 out of 4 weeknds

We also are able to offer weekend only contracts if this would suit your lifestyle better.

Availability between 3am - 10am.

Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory background checks. Backgrounds checks must be completed by all successful candidates and will include medical history.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

We are on the lookout for someone who has great communication skills, attention to detail and enables a successful shopping experience for our customers by ensuring that our products are in the right place at the right time.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As part of the logistics team in a store, you will have the customers at heart, you will be picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in store collection or delivery. Your daily duties will be picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery. You will also be required to meet the customer in the store during picking. You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times.

We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers.

We are looking for someone who has good IT skills & a customer service mindset. You will have the ambition to grow within IKEA and to help develop others too

This role involves manual lifting.
