Warehouse/ Operations Coordinator (Carlsbad, NM)
Pay: $20.00-$26.00
Position Summary:
The Operations Coordinator I will work closely with the Branch Manager, sales team, technicians, vendors, and customers to assist with several aspects of company operations. The Coordinator I is responsible for organizing and coordinating operations and procedures related to inventory control, shipping and receiving and sales to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Duties may entail a variety of operational tasks, primarily warehouse operations, supporting Inside Sales, service personnel and supporting the Service Coordinator by tracking CSR’s or timekeeping logs and invoices. Other duties may include maintaining office records, assisting with safety compliance for service personnel and issuing PO’s related to service jobs. The right candidate will have great customer service and communication skills.

Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1+ years of experience in office administration, operations, or warehousing.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, and highly organized.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, as well as intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere supporting operations of the branch.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Engages in duties related to Service Support and other sales efforts.
  • Engages in duties related to warehousing/shipping and receiving, cycle counts and inventory control.
  • Engages in duties related to branch operations and efficiencies.
  • Serves as support person for Branch management team.
  • Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and field inspectors.
  • May assist with valve assembly with some assistance, based on Branch needs and setup.
  • May create and input sales order from will call customers with some assistance.
  • May assist Service Coordinator with input of service orders in P21 or enter labor hours into service orders.
  • May assist with collecting and dispatching CSRs and timesheets.
  • Assists in keeping stock on specified parts for service use.
  • Submits all pick tickets for all shipped or delivered orders for invoicing.
  • Works with Service Coordinator to administer safety meetings and collate vehicle inspections.
  • May assist Service Coordinator in administering the FR clothing lease program.
  • Perform general office duties such as answering the phone, transferring calls, processing mail, data entry, maintaining calendars and organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.
  • Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Order office supplies and ensure supply stations are stocked and equipment such as printers and scanners are in working order at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
