Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Manager at our facility in Austin, TX. You will be part of a growing leadership team as we continue to make investments in the Austin area. In this position, you will play a key role in operations start up and have full responsibility for managing multi-shift teams as we expand our Warehouse operations. You will be accountable for proactively coordinating all resources (people/material/equipment) to achieve our goals in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment of the warehouse teams including training, auditing, and implementing new processes as needed
  • Manage budgets, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery utilizing autonomous mobile picking technology, shipment and receiving accuracy, material storage and equipment maintenance
  • Hire, manage, and develop entire staff to work as a high-performance team
  • Use a hands-on leadership approach to drive continuous improvements in quality, productivity, efficiency, and utilization
  • Utilize strong communication skills to foster key relationships across the business and organization
  • Utilize sound data management skills to manage and report KPIs to senior leadership
  • Stay aligned to Lutron’s culture and values

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0)
  • 5+ years proven management experience with a strong track of people development
  • Experience in a distribution and/or warehouse environment
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams
  • Continuous process improvement experience such as Lean, 6 Sigma
  • Warehouse start-up experience helpful
