ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Safety:
Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately, including damage to the powered industrial truck.
Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
2. Attendance:
Maintain personal attendance practices to meet established company goals.
3. Work Ethics:
Maintain personal work habits, which meet the demands and stresses of the job.
Meet deadlines and production quotas.
Get along with co-workers.
Follow instructions.
Work scheduled overtime.
Duties: Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards:
Perform daily walk through with checklist.
Load and unload yarn
Receive and record yarn as delivered. Weigh % of each shipment, put on correct label, and place in proper location.
Assist in inventory control.
Receive size, and/or chemicals as delivered.
Keep warehouse clean and orderly on a daily basis.
Do cycle count on closed case inventory.
