DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, manage and report on intra-company material transfers in order to drive optimum inventory levels versus forecast and safety stock targets, at assigned locations.
  • Proactively reduce costs and improve service / inventory turns.
  • Partner with key cross-functional and third-party stakeholders to effectively align distribution plan and inventory management activities across production, forecast, logistics, and cost.
  • Partner daily with Customer Supply Chain to inform them on material availability at SKU/location level or process customer return
  • Facilitate and own the execution of all daily inventory control activities at assigned 3rd party warehouses, such as managing EDI IDOC failures, ensuring proper data synchronization between 3rd party WMS and SAP or reconciling Inbound/Outbound as needed.
  • Assist with disposition activities for slow-moving, expired, and blocked materials at assigned locations.
  • Oversee Quality issues as they pertain to inventory management.
  • Maintain and report on warehouse distribution KPIs. Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist with projects and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Inventory Management, Business or an equivalent functional area and/or previous distribution/warehouse operations, supply chain or inventory control/management experience in a service-driven organization.
  • Strong technical aptitude with inventory control systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of key inventory and supply chain performance metrics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, mostly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data mining)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and desire to work with data.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive business relationships across through collaboration.
  • Able to work independently as well as across functional or matrix team structures.
  • Desire to lead with curiosity in ambiguous learning environment.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workload as well as dealing with ambiguity.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, driven individual.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong track record for execution and follow through when managing critical deadlines. Ability to work well with shifting priorities.
