DC Associate

Work Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Description:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Experience operating powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge/experience with handling Hazmat products Ability to pick and pack products efficiently and accurately Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accustomed to following directions carefully Ability to work independently and within a team environment effectively.

Data entry and paperwork processing is a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures. Order processing, loading and unloading trailers.Operating equipment according to safety guidelines in performance of essential job functions.Assisting peers and management in achieving daily goals.Performing inventory counts according to guidelines.Reporting product quality, safety concerns, and housekeeping issues.Effectively communicating with peers and management.Good attendance and availability to work overtime when needed.Maintaining security and confidentiality of all documents and data within area of responsibility.Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent 3 years of operating powered industrial equipment 3 years of experience working in a warehouse.

Warehouse is focused on refinishing/paint products for the automotive industry. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to handle products weighing up to 50 pounds on pallets at various heights.? Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the warehouse.
