Job Title: Country Club Wait Staff, PT

Position Summary: Sets dining areas, serves beverages and food to club members and guests according to IMG Academy Country Club rules of etiquette.
Position Responsibilities
- Serves meals and beverages to Country Club members and guests according to standard operating procedures, working in a fine dining environment.
- Provides excellent guest service to all members, guests and staff
- Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
- Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
- Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Train, oversee and lead new servers
- Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to be in position.
- Does side work during non-busy hours.
- Speaks to guests with enthusiasm at all times.
- Develops relationships with guests.
- Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards.
- Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
- Clears and resets tables/work areas at conclusion of each course or end of shift.
- Preparing the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Assisting with special events as necessary
- Ability to help in others areas of the department as directed by supervisor
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Cheerful and helpful attitude with Country Club members, students, guests and staff
- Ability to cross-train and work in other areas of the academy
- Must be able to meet any “Food Handlers” license/card training exam (where applicable based on city/county requirement)
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must be able to wait on large groups at one time.
- Must be able to carry tray in one hand and be able to serve beverages with the other hand.
- Must have outgoing and friendly personality and willingness to be patient and courteous with members/guests and other co-workers.
- Should be familiar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
- 1+ year experience in a “full service dining” environment.
- Bilingual
- Managerial experience in a dining environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
- Must be able to be on your feet for entire shift from 4 to 8 hours.
- Must be able to carry dining chairs and tables weighing approximately 40 pounds.
- Must be able to carry tray with 6 meals on it weighing approximately 30 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
