Position: VP, Quality and Risk


Monogram Health is seeking a VP, Quality and Risk leader to drive the company’s overall quality program. This role will have a dotted line relationship to the Chief Compliance Officer and SVP, Strategic Initiatives and Implementations, and directly report to the SVP, Clinical Product and Services Innovation. The VP, Quality will lead the development of company-wide quality initiatives, as well as, evaluate the current and potential areas of risk for the organization. This leader will create and oversee a clinical quality dashboard that encompasses CMS Stars / Hedis measures as well as clinical quality metrics specific to Monogram Health.

This role will require someone who can effectively navigate in a matrix organization to influence and oversee quality completion. This leader will work closely with the market presidents, Regional Operation lead, Regional Medical Director, CMO and COO.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for planning, management, implementation, integration and coordination of the Quality function in support of the company’s goals
  • Directs development of specific short and long-range programs and project plans to obtain the company’s objectives around quality and risk
  • Evaluate current and potential areas of risk to ensure company is covered and proactively addressing
  • Responsible for ensuring the department meets and adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements and for ensuring the department success in any regulatory survey
  • Coordinates training and process for Survey readiness including tracers, identification of deficiencies and oversight of action plans for improvement
  • Participates on various committees and other task forces as may be established by management to plan, organize and drive the quality program
  • Directs and/or participates in regular discussions and reviews on a variety of diverse/complex issues including financial and administrative matters, which have company-wide impact
  • Responsible for making decisions required to maintain acceptable operations based on strategic goals and policies
  • Displays ingenuity and foresight in determining the most appropriate solution in the absence of established guidelines
  • Confers with other department leaders when necessary to resolve procedural difficulties, clarifying department responsibilities, objectives and resolving identified problems
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned by the Administrative Management Team
  • Identify and develop regional quality resources and partner with them to drive the corporate and clinical quality initiatives

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health-related field is required
  • Masters degree preferred
  • 3-5 years Healthcare experience
  • 3+ years data analysis in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and/or Certification in Healthcare Quality Management (CHCQM) preferred
  • Health Care regulatory survey preparation and standards compliance is required
  • If clinically licensed, license must be active and unencumbered
  • Ability to make sound recommendations based on statistical data analysis
  • Possess the ability to effectively lead a team, directly or indirectly, including strong influencing skills to influence the organization
  • Knowledge of and experience with quality improvement principles, philosophy, and technology
  • Strong familiarity with clinical data collection, organization, display, and interpretation
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
