Are you highly effective in working objectively with a diverse group of people, groups and organizations? Feeding Chittenden has an opening for Volunteer and Receiving Coordinator. In this position you will take a lead role in the daily procedures of the receiving area while organizing volunteer scheduling. You will be responsible for recruitment, orientation, placement, training, and recognition of volunteers. The work will include warehouse inventory, receiving donations, documentation and reporting. If you have an Associates Degree in business or human services or combination of education and experience in human services or other appropriate disciplines which include 2-4 years related experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired; experience working with and supervising volunteers (preferred); experience with database entry and Microsoft Office; effective verbal and written communication skills, (bilingual abilities are a plus); a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and access to reliable transportation; we’d like to hear from you!
