We’re seeking a future team member for the role of: Vice President, Transition Account Manager to join our Pershing Wealth Solutions team. This role can be located in Jersey City, NJ or Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • The Transition Account Manager will independently support onboarding large, complex Registered Investment Advisors, Family Offices, and other Wealth Advisory Financial Firms onto the BNY Mellon | Pershing platform to provide financial custody services for client accounts to develop, execute and maintain a detailed transition project to smoothly transition firm and client accounts onto our custody platform.
  • Will facilitate the operational set-up of the firm to utilize a wide array of products and services, coordinates opening of client accounts via the collection and processing of large amounts of client data and perform various roles in the setup and client training of multiple products and services on our platform
  • Participates in project management activities for the transition such as reporting, issue/risk tracking, legal negotiation or document review, scheduling, and coordination and delivery of training
  • Reviews control reports to effectively mitigate risks and resolve problems that arise during the conversion process
  • Plays a key role in identifying internal gaps, efficiency and quality issues in transition processes and implements action plans to drive improvement and increase our competitive advantage

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor‘s degree or the equivalent combination of education
  • 6-9 years of total work experience in securities, financial services, client-facing, or project management role
  • Client interaction and superior communication and relationship management is a major part of the role and is critical to success
  • Must have strong client service, time management, and problem-resolution skills to effectively manage transition events and consistently meet objectives
