East Greenbush Animal Hospital is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our progressive, team oriented practice. Our technicians work closely together to provide the best quality care to our patients in direct communication with our five veterinarians. We recognize the importance of balancing career and life. Flexible schedules are available. Our LVT’s are provided a budget for continuing education and encouraged to pursue professional growth and fulfill personal interests in the field.

A qualified applicant would:

• Be a licensed veterinary technician in good standing in NYS (or board elegible)
• Be motivated, compassionate and team oriented
• Have exceptional problem solving and communication skills

Responsibilities include:

• Medication administration,
• Induction and monitoring of anesthesia,
• Assisting in surgery
• Performance of basic laboratory tests
• Client education
