- Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually. Bonus Eligibility: 5% of base salary

- Relocation benefits may be considered for the exceptionally qualified candidate.

- Availability: Must be available/responsive outside of traditional business hours, within reason

- Experience in parking management and/or hospitality strongly preferred, however not required. Ideal candidate will have a prior success in fields charaterized as fast-paced settings and providing professional services - experience lending overlapping skills and synergy to this role. Some of these fields may include: agency/account management; retail, e-commerce, end-user or B2B sales; residential/luxury property management; FOH, high-end BOH, Food & Beverage management; travel industry; team-sports and coaching thereof; event operations, live entertainment & venue management, security management and audio or visual production management

Position Duties, Responsibilities, and Roles:

The Valet Account Manager orchestrates the service experience for hotel guests and must be a team-first oriented leader. They are responsible for all duties involving coordination and administration of the location and will work with other hotel personnel to maximize guest and client satisfaction. As the Valet Account Manager, you will be an integral part of the hotel’s overall success. You will report directly to the Regional Hospitality Manager.

Primary Duties include:

  • Welcome and greet all guests in a friendly, upbeat, and positive manner using the guest’s name when possible
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
  • Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Personalize every interaction with guest by delighting and building great relationships
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
  • Promote a teamwork philosophy through leading by example and effective communication skills
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Work with hotel department heads to manage day-to-day activities of the hotel
  • Manage the systems and standards currently in place through diligent oversight
  • Be a detail-oriented leader who is driven to succeed
  • Ensure compliance of company and client policies and procedures
  • Arrange for prompt parking and retrieval of vehicles for arriving and departing quests in a safe and friendly manner
  • Lead the work group in delivering high levels of guest service
  • Manage shuttle pick up/drop off schedule and maintenance related items
  • Practice preventative safety procedures and leading the team in facilitating a safe working environment
  • Evaluate staffing requirements and create work schedules weekly adhering to budget goals
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, development and terminating of personnel as necessary
  • Responsible for revenue collection and reconciliation
  • Review of client statements, and portfolio performance based on revenue analysis, profit & loss reports and various accounting-based reports
  • Responsible for annual budgeting and performance of location’s portfolio
  • Assist in developing and facilitating the proposal process for existing and prospective clients for project development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, client presentations
  • Build relationships with existing clients while working on expanding location portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the parking industry preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Must maintain a strict uniform and grooming policy and work with associates each day to ensure all policies are met or exceeded
  • Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the day
  • Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
  • Must possess current drivers’ license that has been held for at least 5 consecutive years and maintain a clean driving record
  • Must cover all visible tattoos
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission preferred
  • Must display tremendous leadership, communication, and organization skills
  • Must have the ability to work evenings/nights and weekends and some holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
