Location: Quantico, VA, USA

Education: Bachelor's degree in closely related field, or DOD training and certification as LE database administrator

Duties:

  • Provide information systems technology program support through use, development, training, and management of law enforcement information systems
  • Provide LE subject matter experts in support for all PSL law enforcement information systems. This includes all current law enforcement information systems and future systems
  • Provide LE SMEs in support of data management of the Assessment/Accreditation Tool, Data Housing and Report Tool (DHART), and other designated law enforcement information systems
  • Provide LE SME to oversee the data management and user access of the HQMC approved training database which is currently DHART. Provide monthly report of issues identified
  • Provide database administrator to grant and control access to Consolidated Law Enforcement Operations Center (CLEOC), National Instant Criminal Background Records Check System (NICS), National Crime Information Center (NCIC), and any future LE reporting database
  • Provide LE SME to help with future database improvements or database replacements.
  • Provide training data management support in the collection, tracking and reporting of training data on USMC Law Enforcement and security personnel
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or qualified exemption for disability or religious belief, practice, or observance)**
  • Carry out other tasks as requested and assigned by the corporation, in time and manner. Likewise, the employee must adhere to and abide by what is established in the policies, regulations, codes, and provisions of the company. For example: To Download and install of apps needed, to take on-line training, etc.

Required:

  • A minimum of six (6) years’ experience as a LE database user and/or administrator
  • Working knowledge of the Marine Corps CLEOC or DOD LE systems
  • Working knowledge of NCIC and NICs
  • Ability to create reports, spreadsheets, and PowerPoints utilizing Microsoft Office software
  • Experience pulling data from a LE database and identifying trends or problem areas
