Overview:

This position will be responsible for account-based selling for large, strategic accounts within Carenet. Responsibilities will include managing all aspects of executive relationships for these accounts, researching and discovering expansion sales opportunities for Carenet Solutions, and adding services within the account. This position will carry a revenue growth number for the year, and will be assigned up to 10 accounts to develop and grow.

These accounts will be assigned a Strategic Account Manager who will be responsible for retaining the accounts, and managing this business so the Account Development Executive can work on expanding executive relationships, staying up to date on current events with the customer, attending shows and conferences, discovering new sales opportunities, and owning key relationships within the account.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for achieving a defined end-year revenue growth goal
  • Establish a sales pipeline of potential services to sell in each account
  • Nurture and grow the pipeline through cold calling, setting up demos, attending conferences, and working through LinkedIn Navigator
  • Communicate complex data and/or customer needs at a high level to executives or Carenet Staff members.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with key decision makers.
  • Primary point of contact for a set of existing and recently added health system customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers to expand the relationship whenever possible.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional Carenet team members that are critical to the customers’ success – Client Services, Operations, Marketing, etc.
  • Maintain Salesforce.com data pertaining to your customer account list.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Communication Solutions products and marketing campaigns.
  • Bridge knowledge and understanding of goals across client departments to obtain buy-in for added services.

Qualifications:
  • Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or related work experience
  • Three or more years of service sales and/or account management experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to work with cross functional and intercompany teams
  • High degree of emotional intelligence & ability to conduct crucial conversations
  • Proactive and curious mindset and actions on a daily basis
  • Demonstrated experience in representing and engaging with Senior Executive
  • Ability to define business requirements and understand IT requirements
  • Superior analytical and forward-thinking skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project; high level of proficiency in Salesforce.com
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of Carenet health and the product offerings
  • Technical aptitude, including knowledge of SAAS based products
  • Understanding of business issues facing Carenet Health clients
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Understand customers’ goals and vision
  • Proven ability to build trust among customers, and consistently provide recommendations that make good “business sense” to the customer
