ERLY Wellness is a small family style business offering ultrasound and thermography screenings in various clinics throughout Metro Atlanta.

We are a positive, team oriented company looking for an ultrasound technician who can provide excellent customer service to our growing clientele. A friendly, warm, kind, caring, and professional demeanor is essential. Sonographer must be flexible, confident and independent as you will be driving to different clinics (mileage is reimbursed) with a portable ultrasound machine. Current locations are in Acworth, Roswell, Suwanee, Midtown Atlanta, Newnan, and Peachtree City and are shared with our lead sonographer. Proficient in multi tasking and staying on time with scheduled appointments.

Must also be willing to learn about thermography and some aspects of holistic health care in order to be familiar with existing clientele needs or questions. This position will begin as PRN but has the potential to grow into part-time.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be certified or eligible for certification by: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience as an ultrasound technologist. (Sorry no new grads at this time.)
• The majority of our exams are bilateral whole breast screenings. Experience with breasts, abdomen, small parts, and GYN ultrasound is preferred.
• Competent with both diagnostic and screening ultrasounds
• Time management skills
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail oriented and decision making abilities
• Capable of working independently

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care
• Sonographer will be responsible for performing all ultrasound related procedures and protocols and for completing all assigned tasks by the end of the shift
• Taking care of clients from start to finish (Initial greeting to reviewing paperwork and asking appropriate questions, performing the exam, to escorting them out)
• Uploading studies to PACS, writing up tech worksheet with preliminary findings, obtaining all proper documents from patient and document history and diagnosis thoroughly, and uploading paperwork into the system. Once report is received then responsible for reviewing accuracy of report.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging
