3rd Shift Dispatcher

M&M Transport Services, Inc is hiring!!!

We are seeking a motivated & experienced trucking dispatcher for a full time 3rd Shift position Mon-Fri 10pm to 7am dispatcher role.

The dispatcher is responsible for the scheduling and management of truck drivers daily loads and providing customer service. This position keeps accurate records of the calls they receive, the drivers, and the actions they take. The dispatcher also needs to adjust to last minute work changes, schedule changes, driver changes, as well as adjust to a constantly shifting transportation environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule the daily loads for drivers to ensure maximum efficiency, profitability, and customer service
• Work with customer and drivers to ensure both parties get what they are promised
• Communicate with, and coach, drivers constantly throughout the day to answer questions, solve problems, and keep them involved.
• Communicate with other dispatchers about upcoming and current locations of trucks without loads to keep drivers loaded, rolling, and profitable
• Handle customer’s and driver requests and complaints
• Maintain accurate driver information in TMW system
• Assign trips to drivers to assure adequate disbursement of trips/loads between all assigned routes
• Answer incoming phone calls from customers and drivers
• Document any calls received and keep an accurate log of daily activities
• Maintain compliance with all FMCSA rules, company policies, and procedures
• Responsible for customer billing and driver pay
• Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years dispatching experience is preferred
• Excellent computer and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team orientated, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ideal candidates will be self starters
• Must have TMW experience

Salary will be discussed & determined at interview based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
