We are looking for a Florida state certified CDL instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck driving and a passion for teaching. The instructor will be responsible for providing comprehensive training to new and existing drivers, ensuring that they are up to date on all safety regulations and familiar with the company's policies. The successful candidate will also be expected to monitor and evaluate the performance of drivers, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Train and evaluate new truck drivers.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
• Conduct classroom and on-the-road training sessions.
• Develop and implement training plans for new drivers.
• Provide feedback to drivers on their performance.
• Maintain records of driver training activities.
• Monitor the progress of drivers in the program.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Crystal River, FL 34428: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 4 years (Preferred)
• Driving: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Required)
