Truck Driver – Dump Trailer

Seeking driver, Collier County/ Naples Florida

Pay Per Load, competitive wages

$25-30 per hour, commensurate with experience

Full-time, year-round position

Local Route off Exit 101 and 105, Home daily

Tanker Endorsement preferred

Prolime Corporation is seeking a dependable and organized Class A truck driver who can consistently ensure safe and timely hauling of materials. Must be efficient and have a clean driving record.

Class A Truck Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Drive trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 lbs

· Pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs

· Class A, Tanker endorsement preferred

· Ensure trailer hitch is properly and securely attached

· Transport loads from the place of origin to the assigned destination

· Ensure load is properly secured

· Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, tire pressure ect.)

· Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip

· Track and report working hours and expenses

· Maintain records of loads hauled and accurately fill out corresponding load tickets

· Notify managers of any major maintenance or hauling issues encountered

· Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions

· Comply with ICC and DOT regulations

· Adhere to company policies and regulations

Class A Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

· Valid CDL Class A driver’s license

· Must possess current DOT

· Minimum 2+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred

· Dump box experience

· Clean driving record with no moving violations

· Must pass a background check and drug test

· Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer

· Disciplined, dependable and resourceful

· Alert, focused and detail-oriented

· Possess strong work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
