Economy Welding & Industrial Supply LLC (EWIS)

CDL Driver

Objective:

EWIS is a family-owned welding and industrial supply company located in Baden, Pennsylvania.

The CDL Drive position is responsible for safely operating company-owned vehicles in compliance with both company and DOT regulations/requirements.

Responsibilities:

• While delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional businesses, the driver will maintain the highest personal standards in all interactions with customers and the community.
• Safely loads and unloads cylinders containing compressed gases on company vehicles.
• Delivers compressed gas cylinders to customer external and internal sites.
• Records deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest and obtains signatures from customers for receipt purposes.
• Collects empty cylinders from customer sites. Returns empty cylinders to EWIS warehouse for refilling.
• Establishes and maintains strong customer relations. Listens to and helps resolve service inquiries and issues.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections documenting deficiencies; ensures all safety items are in good working order.
• Assists in warehouse or on loading dock, as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL - Class A, B, C (required)
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Card. (TWIC)
• Hazmat Certification (or ability to acquire certification as a condition of employment).
• HS Diploma or GED

Work Schedule: Full-time. Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
