True Footage is seeking a motivated and eager Certified Appraiser to join our team. This particular role will require inspecting in the field to perform fieldwork inspections only.

The appraisal industry is at an inflection point and we are going to both elevate and promote the profession of real estate appraisers as our industry evolves.

This position is vital to the team and is an integral part of our bifurcated model to increase volume and efficiency.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• The field inspector position will require the appraiser in this role to complete all aspects of the on-site inspection and data collection (photos, measurements/sketch, owner/agent interviews, data collection, condition and quality determination and documentation).
• Constant communication with in-office staff to relay appointment completion, delays, on-site condition issues that could delay report completion, etc.
• On-site completion of the site/subject data section of the report by way of TOTAL for mobile
• Maintaining status via internal platforms as well as updating in-office staff with appointment dates, scheduling attempts, and inspection status.
• Contribute to the efficient completion of reports assigned to the market team.
• Work alongside others at True Footage to provide industry leading reports through an innovative process.

YOU BRING

• Previous experience as a field inspector
• A thorough understanding of appraisal methodology, practices and technologies
• Understanding of the different levels of quality, and various building components
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within an established territory
• Familiarity and compliance with current ANSI standards
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Problem-solving skills
