PSC Group is now hiring a self-motivated Treasury Analyst to join our corporate office in Baton Rouge, LA!

The Treasury Analyst provides analysis in the conduct of daily treasury, cash, receivable, and collection activities. Responsible for balancing daily and monthly bank activity to the General Ledger.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains the daily cash spreadsheet by entering all cash activity and reconciling to bank balances.
• Initiates wires and transfers.
• Oversees the unapplied cash report, posting legacy cash, reviewing adjustments for accuracy, and posting adjustments.
• Assists with cash management and forecasting.
• Monitors collections by preparing the weekly AR Aging past due target list and distributing to the line of business AR specialists.
• Performs reconciliations of billing invoices to third party customer systems to properly apply cash receipts.
• Assists in new customer verification by conducting credit checks.
• Monitors customer credit worthiness and communicates significant changes to management.
• Processes customer refunds
• Assists with month end close by reconciling accounts receivable, unapplied cash and bank accounts to the general ledger
• Supports the billing and collections staff as required.
• Performs other treasury duties as required.
• Manages the Corporate Credit Card Program

Job Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service, time management & organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines on a consistent basis.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Stable work history with good references from past employers
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
