As a Traveling Caregiver, you’ll be part of an elite team of associates traveling throughout 6 states, this position will be traveling throughout Washington to our 9 locations, located in Burlington, Bremerton, Yakima and many in between. You’ll be expected to provide support to cover staffing shortages either scheduled or unexpected. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in making a difference in the lives of others.

General Overview

• Must be current resident of Washington state
• We request at least a 6-month commitment (preferably one year)
• Assignments can range anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months
• Travel and lodging will be provided or compensated by Cascade Living Group for the duration of employment
• Starting wage is $22.50/hr (depending on experience it could be higher)
• Opportunity to work over-time
• Quarterly bonus based on performance

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience working with seniors
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
• Positive attitude and the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• The ability to work weekends and a flexible work schedule

Job Duties

• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
• Assist residents in life skills and other life enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile
• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences and preferred routines
• Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident's day
• Work with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living Group
