Job Title: Trainee Accountant
Permanent
Hours: 37 per week
Part time/flexible working options will be considered
Salary range: £24,576 to £37,134 per annum (dependent upon qualification level)
Based at: Force Headquarters
An exciting time to join a newly established team providing financial services to both the Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner of Nottinghamshire.
The Force offers the opportunity for the right candidate to train to be a professionally qualified accountant and gain experience in a wide range of public finance roles with pay grade progression is linked to exam success.
Main Purpose of Role
To provide professional financial advice and support to the organisation, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and statutory regulations. This is a training role and expectations will be in line with an individual’s experience, knowledge, and exam success. The role will be expected to work across all functions of the department.
Key Skills & Experience Required
An ability to acquire skills and knowledge, with the aptitude to apply this in the role.
Educated to a level that would allow the applicant to undertake studies to become a professionally qualified CCAB accountant (CIPFA Preferred)
