Overview:
This position is mainly responsible for daily planning of all inbound/outbound intermodal traffic. This position will communicate daily with the transportation group to plan set and pick up instructions for inbound/outbound trains. Assign units by block for outbound loading, manage total car inventory for intermodal and support yard. Be able to prioritize/manage inbound train unloading to meet customer goals.

This position is mainly responsible for daily planning of all inbound/outbound intermodal traffic. This position will communicate daily with the transportation group to plan set and pick up instructions for inbound/outbound trains. Assign units by block for outbound loading, manage total car inventory for intermodal and support yard. Be able to prioritize/manage inbound train unloading to meet customer goals.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the entire terminal operations including: safety, administration, maintenance, and productivity
- Responsible for the training and orientation of all employees and ensures that every employee has the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to perform each task assigned
- Responsible for problem solving with local railroad officers
- Enforces and upholds all ITS rules, regulations and policies, issues all disciplinary action
- Responsible for all administrative tasks related to terminal management
Previous transportation and/or logistics experience preferred
Previous intermodal experience required
