Job description
- Perform maintenance and repair duties.
- Replace S cams, and bushings, slack adjusters, and shims.
- Repair and replace tire and wheel assemblies.
- Perform nail hole repairs.
- Install E-Tracks on trailers.
- Install new Roll Up Door.
- Replace Rear door panels as required.
- Replace door rollers.
- Check and test lighting system.
- Check and adjust brakes as needed.
- Install scuff liner on trailers.
- Patch and/or replace tire.
- Open and Close repair orders in PMS.
- Issue POs for Parts.
- Order parts as needed.
- Other support duties as required to support operations. These could include but are not limited to picking up drivers and/or equipment.
- 5 or more years of experience with mechanical repairs on trailers and box trucks.
- Have basic knowledge and experience of a Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
- Must have minimum tool requirements.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to travel 25% of the time.
- Demonstrate the ability to access and use internal and external maintenance documents (troubleshooting guides/Manuals).
- Must pass DOT pre employment.
- Ability to consistently meet all deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- The pay is competitive, depending on experience ($23.00-$32.00/hour) and will be discussed during an in-person interview.
