Historic Galveston Ghost Tours has been providing Haunted Walking Tours to the Galveston, TX area since 2009. Filled with horror, Galveston's history is unmatched with episodes of murder, suicide, cannibalism, pirates and ghosts. We tell these unique stories about Galveston's intriguing history as we visit the gilded mansions and palaces from the Island's past.

Looking for an exciting and spooky job opportunity? We're seeking a few outgoing individuals who like working with people, speaking in public, and teaching about Galveston’s unique history.

Tour guides lead guests on an 80min tour of various routes through the Strand and Red Light districts, discussing the historical aspects of each . The Strand tour incorporates a lot of information about the supernatural and the storm of 1900. The Red Light district tour focuses on the history and the women who worked this trade.

Guides may dress in costume, though it’s not a requirement. The shifts are all evening/nights, at 6,8, and 10pm with optional midnight tours.

Paid training once a candidate makes a commitment to learn a tour, as well as learning additional tours. The more you know, the more shifts are available, and learning a second tour is a lot easier after the first.
