Description/Job Summary

RHD is offering group clinical supervision for licensure (LPC or LCSW), with individual supervision available at select programs.

The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapies to children, adolescents and adults using evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities/Duties

Therapy

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments including recommendations for treatment
  • Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues.

Caseload management

  • Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
  • Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet CCBHC and agency guidelines
  • Discharge individuals according to agency guidelines.

Administrative

  • Enter documentation into electronic medical record in accordance with agency guidelines.

Required Experience

  • At least two years as a counselor/therapist in a drug and alcohol setting

Required Education

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field with at least two years as a counselor/therapist in a drug and alcohol setting
  • ACT 33/34 clearances
  • FBI clearance, as needed
  • All trainings required by licensure

Required Qualifications

  • CADC, CAADC, LSW, LCSW, LPC or currently working toward one of these licensures is REQUIRED
  • ACT 33/34 clearances
  • FBI clearance, as needed
  • All trainings required by licensure

Program Summary

Family House NOW is a 13 bed residential treatment facility for women experiencing mental illness and chemical dependence, and their children. Special components address drug/alcohol addiction, mental illness, life skills, trauma, and parenting skills, as well as prevention and intervention for the children. Family House NOW is one of only a few programs nationwide that works with mother and child in a residential treatment setting.
