Here at Sports Endeavors Inc. our passion for the game is what drives our success and we are looking for a talented individual to join our Team Sales Division as a Manager of our new Diamond Sports division in North Carolina. While you may know us best by our store fronts on the web like SOCCER.COM, WORLDSOCCERSHOP.COM or 431 SPORTS, our organization provides a wide variety of specialty apparel and gear designed for any team sport or sport enthusiast.

We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve SEI’s ambitious growth, through developing and organizing new sales initiatives.
o Developing and managing relationships with potential clients, influencers and key stakeholders
o Work with sales staff to create account management plans, call plans, and forecast sales accurately
o Ability to work with shared service groups including purchasing, marketing, business development, sales operations, finance and accounting to create and achieve a cohesive sales strategy and targets.
o Help advise organization on trends in the Baseball and Softball community and abilities needed to win including pricing, product and services.
o Manage an inside sales team with potential outsides sales staff and create hiring and onboarding plans as needed
o Coordinate with key brand partners on sales programs, products and match day events
o Provide market feedback to leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and development ideas to ensure business success.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience successfully leading a sales team
  • 3+ years of experience in management/supervision
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) performance metrics, and sales tools (CRM, etc.)
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent financial management skills
  • Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business
  • Candidate will possess a team spirit attitude and demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and math skills
  • Must possess the ability to work independently with little supervision alongside of managing monthly workflow duties along with additional projects as necessary
  • Demonstrate substantial analytical skills – ability to troubleshoot problems, complete proper research and develop, analyze and recommend solutions
  • Proven track record for excellent attendance and reliability
  • Previous accounting experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to stay focused in an active work environment
  • No previous job-related convictions, a detailed background check will be required.
