Job Description:
Provides technical support via telephone and e-mail for the joint LSU and FBI DOJ projects; tests and reports on system improvements; assists in the development and implementation of content on websites; provide account provisioning and maintenance for LEEP. Position schedule for weeknights or weekend shifts. May be required to be on evenings and weekends or work during emergency situations such as hurricanes or other natural disasters. Position is 24x7 on-call duty. Some travel may be required.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide technical support via telephone and email. Handle customer service inquiries both telephonically and by email. Identify and escalate priority issues. Route callers to appropriate resources. Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.(30%)
Responsible for the reception and conversion of documents to various online formats, including Portable Document Format (PDF) and XHTML. Responsible for the publishing and reporting of converted content. Maintain graphic, usability, and accessibility integrity for web site, and assist with quality assurance testing during non-peak hours. (30%)
Perform user access request provisioning ensuring all valid requests are processed in a timely fashion. (20%)
Perform system functionality testing for PAAMS applications and interfaces. (10%)
Report metrics and immediately report any system or operational problems. (5%)
Assist management with special projects as needed. (5%)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, 0-2 years experience. Proficient with: web browsers, internet and general office applications; customer service oriented. MUST be able to pass a national security background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree; Technical support and customer service/help desk experience; Windows and/or Apple computer troubleshooting; Internet connection troubleshooting; Service Desk ticketing and contact management applications; web design tools; HTML
