Purpose: Tenaris products and discovers those needed for the future, applying products into new applications and technically proving Tenaris value. Sells Tenaris products and services through engineered, value based solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Builds high-quality, lasting technical relationship, guided by a strong understanding of customer situations.
- Connects customer ideas with product development organization and predicts future applications and products.
- Discovers opportunities, adds value to customer operations, proves differentiation. Assists in the development and distribution of sales tools with a proactive sales approach.
- Offers value added services (string design, running services inspection, etc.) as an empowered member of the customer team.
- Assists a team, and at times leads the customer investigation and claims management process.
- Provides a technical support role.
- Participates in setting and reviewing customer specific sales strategies.
- Provides technical assistance services to final customers ensuring the correct use of Tenaris products.
- Provides feedback from the field about product performance and general on field information valuable for Tenaris.
Special Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required
- 4 year Engineering Degree (any discipline)
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service and/or sales
- 1-3 years of experience working in Oil & Gas Industry
- General knowledge of OCTG
- Flexibility to travel as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
