General Purpose of the Job

The Technical Service Engineer II provides technical assistance in a complex District (mulit cement players including imports & consolidated customer power-buyers). The role to support and maximize Argos product sales and EBITDA thru value added currancies. Specifically, the incumbent provides assistance to customers with cement, concrete, and cementitious propositions; in additiona l to assisting with product issues and resolution. The postion will be a liason between the District and the architectural and engineering communities, and the relevant specifying agencies (Transportation). The position will also serve and represent with various technical committees within The District, The position is expected to be a Champion and take a leadership role in the development and launch of innovative products and cementitious strategies.

Individual Accountabilities

• Resolves customer product issues.

• Provides technical service to enhance customers operations.

• Keeps up to date on product performance of Argos and competitive products

• Participates in resolution of long-term product development and product issues.

• Trains and educates customers, District Sales, and other Argos employees.

• Participates actively in trade associations as required

• Participates in cross-functional product quality committees

• Provides regular correspondence on product performance and customers

Identification and incorporation of technical service and product improvement opportunities

• Timely concrete test program sample management

• Resolution of technical issues resulting in satisfied customers and fewer claims

• Effective monitoring of product through liaison with plants

• Rapid identification/communication of product changes to Sales and Marketing

• Solid understanding of customer needs and operations delivering customer solutions

• Continuous improvement of market and industry knowledge

• Work on District cementitious portfolio

Bachelor´s Degree

Technical Knowledge and Certifications

PE Preferred

Area of Experience

Engineering; Concrete; Paving; Cement or Admix

Launguages

English C2 Advanced.

Annual Salary Range from $97,582 to $135,531
