Who we need:

Reporting to the VP of Technology and working directly with the Technology and Growth teams, we are looking for a driven, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic Technical Program Director. You will be responsible for managing multiple software projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and effective communication with client leadership, stakeholders, and project teams. Everything you do will support our mission as a Digital Acceleration Partner.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Planning and managing product development stages
• Foster Thrillworks’ relationship with our clients and identify opportunities for new work with the client
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
• Identify and mitigate risks, and solve problems as they arise
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
• Consult client on Technical aspects at length
• Provide road map and big picture overview consultation to clients
• Act as a client portfolio/account lead

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, or related field
• 6+ years of experience as Director of Engineering/ Senior Engineering Manager/ Enterprise Solutions Architect
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management
• Experience selling additional services to clients an asset
• Expert level knowledge in foundations of software engineering best practices
• Experience managing and completing mobile application projects
• Strong project management skills, including Agile methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of the full life-cycle of product development, delivery and release
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Ability to collaborate with IT leaders and report back to senior leadership
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Ability to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
