Job Title: Technical Lead SFCC


Overview:

As a Technical Lead, you’ll be a leader on our Software Engineering team. In addition to being able to solve very complex technical issues for our clients, you are also expected to provide leadership and mentorship to our internal developers, assist our sales team in scoring and estimating new business, as well as being able to work directly with clients to gather complex technical requirements and document them for others to work on. You’ll be working on large scale ecommerce initiatives, complex customizations to our chosen ecommerce platform, and custom integrations with our client’s 3rd party vendors. You’ll also be working closely with the Director of Software Engineering to help shape our internal tools and processes.


Expectations:

  • Technical lead on large scale projects
  • Mentoring all other levels of developers
  • Manage a team of developers on a project
  • Assist with managing technical scope and budget on projects
  • Perform code reviews
  • Work directly with clients to gather and document requirements
  • Write technical documentation (TSD and FSD)
  • Use past experience to be able to independently solve new problems
  • Interview development candidates
  • Participate in scoping and estimating new projects
  • Help set team standards and direction
  • Work on internal tools and processes
  • Write code as needed


Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • The knowledge and experience in all aspects of software engineering: requirements gathering, validation, and management; architecture/design; code and other artifact development; integration; and testing/QA.
  • Able to design solutions are fast, scalable, reliable, maintainable, and secure
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform
  • Experience integrating and customizing LINK Cartridges
  • Experience creating and managing custom jobs and 3rd party service calls
