Nothing Bundt Cakes is a specialty bakery with a warm friendly atmosphere and a nostalgic wink to the past. We are now looking for candidates to join our team for this coming late summer/early fall as we prepare for our peak season from October through May. We are looking for mature, friendly, outgoing, team-spirited persons to work as a Guest Service Representative / Crafter. Nothing Bundt Cakes' Guest Service Representatives serve our guests both in person and over the phone with creative solutions in a warm and welcoming environment. Guest Service Representatives will also perform side work duties for the crafting department, some light cleaning, and some clerical duties. Crafters bridge the gap between the frosting department and guest service department by completing all orders according to NBC's standards and time guidelines. Crafters will maintain the crafting department and keep it supplied, clean and running efficiently. As Nothing Bundt Cakes is a holiday driven business, this requires all team members to be available to work during holiday periods. The open position is part-time but may progress into full-time for the right candidate. This is an entry level position. Successful candidates have the opportunity to increase wage rates and hours by cross-training in other areas of the bakery

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Abide by all NBC policies and procedures
• Uphold NBC's image and brand
• Assist other departments when necessary
• Introduce walk-in guests to our bakery and our products with a guest tour
• Assist guests with walk-in orders while using creative solutions
• Suggest balloon sales, show porcelain items, and up-sell with candles and cards
• Assist phone guests by placing incoming orders
• Give cake presentations while performing quality control tests
• Operate & balance (POS) point of sale with accuracy and efficiency
• Gather guests email addresses
• Keep samples available during all hours of operation
• Maintaining a strong knowledge of NBC's products, prices, and promotions
• Keep retail area clean, swept and neatly merchandised,
• Dust all retail surfaces twice per week, including all counter tops, and POS stations
• Duties assigned by crafting department such as fluffing bows and making design pieces.
• Track inventory and commission sales
