Computer World Services, Corporation (CWS) is seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as Team Leader – Endpoint- Management for the NIH IT CSPSS customer service Portfolio that consists of a full range of NIH IT Service Desk and Desktop Support services, IT Training, and related resource services. The NIH IT Service Desk provides technical support to the NIH community via the World Wide Web and phone. The Service Desk receives over a thousand requests for service every business day.

Where issues cannot be resolved in-house, they are assigned to support staff in each of NIH’s ICs. Support cases are assigned and resolved using the NIH IT Service Desk IT Service Management System (ITSM), supported by the CIT Business Application Services (BAS) and the Service Desk’s Automated Call Distribution System administered by CIT Unified Connectivity and Communication (UCC) service area.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing and applying technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attack, damage, or unauthorized access. Establishes computing environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Engage with different organization and assist with the research, analysis, and provide the necessary guidance to develop and endpoint management recommendation to the NIH Customer.
  • Understand key business priorities and lead technical exchange meetings, enabling the customer to meet their mission, business, and system priorities.
  • Coordinate customer requirements to aid in the creation of a modern endpoint management strategy.
  • Understand the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable implementation.
  • Oversee and coordinate the review of all business process and system-level changes as part of service improvement.
  • Ensure acquired or developed systems are consistent with organization’s cybersecurity guidelines.
  • Leveraged currently deployed security utilities to meet operational requirements and to reduce the duplication of services.
  • Coordinate and document a review of endpoint management products and best practices (A/V, MDM, Security agents).
  • Evaluate existing processes and solutions that are in place.
  • Provide input to implementation plans and standard operating procedures.
  • Work with other service manager and product owners to balance and priorities services to meet overall customer requirements, constraints, and objectives.
  • Research and document industry – standard and organizationally accepted analysis principles and methods.
  • Capture and integrates essential system capabilities or business functions.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • BA /BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related field (required)
  • Minimum of five (5+) years of related experience.
  • Minimum of three (3+) years of related technical experience in Cybersecurity

Certifications

  • CISSP, GIAC, GCIA, CE, IAT, SANS or CISSP Certification (one/or more required)

Security Clearance

  • Ability to pass and obtain government required background investigation.
  • US Citizen or permanent resident

Other (Travel, Work Environment, Administrative Notes, etc.)

  • Local travel only to customer site
