- Willingness to work collaboratively with the building SIT Team and perform duties as assigned.
- Willing to step into the classroom to cover teachers.
- Entering data into district and/or building systems to streamline MTSS structures.
- Assist in facilitating/guiding BSAT, SIT, PBIS,SAFETY/SECURITY and other building level teams.
- Plan and carry out staff development that is pertinent to the building’s ESSA Plans and/or Title Plans.
- Support MTSS systems within the building.
- Support Tier 2 reading, math and behavioral instruction.
- Support Tier 3 reading, math and behavioral instruction.
- Ability to oversee breakfast, lunch, recess, bussing, and before/after school supervision.
- Ability to arrange for guest teacher in-house coverage when subs are not available.
- Oversee and assist in the evaluation, scheduling and day to day expectations of paraeducators.
- Attend IEP's as the Administrative Designee for this program.
- Willingness to be in charge of or assist with ISASP testing and protocol.
- Facilitate meetings with staff and parents.
- Work flexible hours to meet the needs of the building.
- Be able to motivate and recognize staff achievement.
- All other duties as assigned by the principal.

- Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to assist with outside supervision year round
- Master's Degree (Administrative Certification) preferred for new hires.
- Evaluator License for Iowa or willingness to get
- 5 years classroom teaching experience
- Experience in facilitating adult groups
- Technology skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in staff development
- Knowledgeable in working with students with significant special needs
- Experience in dealing with at-risk students
- Must value the diversity of students and reflect this in teaching and disciplinary strategies which emphasize high expectations
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
