Now Hiring – Talent Acquisition Advisor – Huntsville, AL (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $40.00/hr

As a chemicals supplier to almost all industries, BASF will establish a standalone subsidiary dedicated to its Mobile Emissions Catalysts, Precious Metals Trading, Recycling, and related Products and Services business. The new group is referred to as BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions and is wholly owned by BASF. BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions will operate globally in over 15 countries and comprise of approximately 20 production sites and over 4,000 employees.

During your shift as a Talent Acquisition Advisor you will…

• Evaluate and interview qualified candidates.

• Partner and consult with hiring managers and other leadership to ensure the staffing process is timely and effective.

• Constantly measure success through specific metrics.

• Ensure Applicant Tracking System is updated to comply with regulations.

• Screen candidates and recommend diverse interview slates and panels to hiring managers.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews for hiring team and candidates.

• Review results of pre-employment assessments, background checks and pre-employment medical exams.

• Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on interview techniques, policies, process, and regulatory issues.

• Extend offers of employment to successful candidates.

• Manage 3rd party recruiting vendors and resources if needed.

• Maintain strong relationship to Talent Acquisition team and related community of practice.

• Be responsible for talent and diversity challenge results and parameters related to interviewing and slating.

• Partner with local employer branding, community outreach with community colleges.

• Commit to a 9-month contract

• Work as a contractor through one of our local contract partners if selected for this position

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

If you…

• Have a High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related discipline and 3 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience

• Can work a 9-month contract
