Job description for Systems Test Engineer

We are seeking a high energy Systems Test Engineer for our client based in Sylmar, CA Location . Our client is one of the top Pharma companies in the USA.

Position Summary – Systems Test Engineer

Develops and performs execution of System Test Protocols and issues/bug reporting. Also conducts ad-hoc, exploratory and regression testing of Web Application and/or Mobile Based Apps. For a smaller percentage of time may help to manage laboratory logistics for our Remote Care Systems Engineering lab.
Implantable devices and apps for those devices will be focus of work. End to end system testing exp. preferred but other exp. will work but candidates must be good problem solver. Med device or regulated environment exp. (aerospace, automotive) highly preferred. Software testing would be preferred over quality (verification vs. validation)

Main Responsibilities

· Performs a variety of duties involving system testing of Web Application and/or Mobile Apps (Android and iOS).

· Understands the available authored test procedures, conduct different types of test execution (Manual/Automated).

· Reports issues, re-test and also conduct functional, regression, exploratory and ad-hoc testing of the products.

· Assists in the overall evaluation of the Product Quality.

Qualifications

· Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field.
Experience in general engineering/science principals and laboratory skills.
· Display the initiative, creativity and leadership in troubleshooting, suggesting alternatives, and making recommendations for continuous quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
