La Jolla Logic is currently looking for multiple Systems Engineers of varying years of experience and specialties (Jr, Mid, Sr levels) to join our team in developing next generation Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Electromagnetic Warfare (EMW), and Information Operations (IO) systems solution for the Department of Defense (Sterling, VA). The next generation solution will enable enhanced combat systems integration, Open System Architectures, modularity, scalability, and increased automation utilizing machine learning and analytics.

Candidates in this labor category may be involved in a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

• Collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, and operations personnel to develop digital models of the system architecture and implementation utilizing Model-Driven Design and Implementation (MDDI) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies (prior experience not required).
• Responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and continuously validate those solutions through delivery.
• Support engineering design reviews such as System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Design Reviews (PDR/CDR) and Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
• Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
• More experienced personnel may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
• Understanding of and/or prior experience in Systems Engineering Life Cycle Management from developing hardware and software requirements, design, integration, iterative process’ to testing, validation and quality assurance process’.
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems engineering concepts, methods, processes.

Requirements

• Experience levels: Junior (2 years), Mid (3-6 years), Sr. (7-11 years), SME (12+ years).
• Understanding of and/or prior experience in Software Engineering to include developing software requirements, design, integration, iterative process, testing, validation, and quality assurance process.
• Understanding of DoD Systems Engineering or prior experience commensurate to years of experience in the field.
• Ability and/or willingness to learn new software engineering concepts, methods, processes.
• Active TS is required for consideration. Candidate will be required to obtain SCI eligibility and be read onto the program.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant experience (ex. computer science, engineering, etc.).

Salary Range: $80,000-$128,000
