Position Title: Operations System Analyst I

Location: Pataskala, OH

Shift: B Shift (Wednesday-Saturday 7a-5:30p)

Reports to: Waving Supervisor

Newell Brands is seeking a highly motivated and talented Operations Systems Analyst to support the Yankee Candle distribution center. In this role, the candidate will be a multipoint SME on all aspects within the distribution center from Inbound to Outbound providing support where needed pertaining to the automation systems and warehouse management systems. In addition to system documentation, the candidate must also possess proficient skills to perform system testing and training.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for creating, maintaining, and running regression/automation tests using WMI (Manhattan)

· Displays comprehensive understanding of the slotting process and how slotting impacts the overall flow of the building

· Responsible for running report generation in SCI

· Experience with hands on troubleshooting order/process resolution

· Integral part of physical inventory and the process through communicating with management regarding inventory transactions and verifying inventory through SCI

· Responsible for process flow improvement and being strategically minded being proactive in work environment

· Follows all Company safety/accident policies and procedures and adheres to all applicable safety laws and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment

· Notifies management promptly of any safety hazards/violations or accidents/injuries and encourages employees to follow all safety procedures

· Perform other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

· Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)

· Must possess Minimum of 3-5 years of PKMS experience

· Possesses knowledge of Supply Chain workflow from receiving to shipping

· Experience writing test scripts for UAT

· Excellent problem solving/analytical skills

· Ability to meet deadlines for projects

· Practices communication expertise and the ability to communicate to all levels within company

Preferred Qualifications:

· Distribution/warehouse experience preferred

· Experience with Cognos 11 preferred

· Ability to work well within a small team

· Ability to work with minimal supervision at times

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

· Must be able to work in comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which may cause discomfort

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception

· Ability to work in warm and cool temperatures

· Ability to bend, twist, lift & walk on a continuous & repetitive basis
