What We’re Looking For

Trillium has a career opening for an Encounters Analyst (Development). This is a technical position responsible for the development and maintenance of the Information Technology Business Systems for Trillium. This involves database development, input into long-range planning for the enhancement, upgrade or change in business systems. This position participates in the Agile flow and employee will be responsible for developing and maintaining Trillium business systems, as directed. This position performs, maintains, and enhances analysis, reconciliation, auditing, and reporting for encounter functions. Researching and gathering current claim and financial information to analyze trends, reconcile system data, audit for errors, and generate internal and external reporting are ongoing activities of this role. The position includes the responsibility for building expertise and being a knowledge resource for Encounters processing.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Monitor and ensure business systems Integrations (including TBS and Provider Direct) remain operational; record downtime and causes when they occur; coordinate troubleshooting when system downtime occurs
  • Oversee and coordinate UAT testing for any upgrades to the business systems pursuant to the Agile flow
  • Perform direct reconciliation of data flowing between processing systems and to NCDHHS, identifying and reporting any discrepancies while meeting state-imposed timeliness requirements.
  • Review encounter file errors and coordinate with other Trillium teams to ensure data is correctly submitted / re-submitted and accounted for
  • Confirm daily Encounter file submissions and acceptance for submission to EPS in coordination with other IT staff
  • Generate internal and external reporting of encounters statistics, including data by fund source, disability, and service category.
  • Review encounter data for audits and reviews to determine encounter processing accuracy and reporting validity / integrity and identify relevant trends

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s Degree, Major: Two-year degree required. Application certifications(s) maybe substituted to equivalent degree requirements. Two-year degrees requires certification.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance, Accounting, Computer Information, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Science, or Engineering

Experience: Minimum of four (4) years’ experience within a distributed computer environment supporting a complex integrated software package such as ERP, Financials, Accounting, Work or Process flow, or Software Development. Experience working in application environments, dealing with computer systems and networks or equivalent of higher education or higher education / experience

License/Certification: Two-year degree requires certification.

Preferred (if applicable): License/Certification: Microsoft applications certifications MTA, MCSA, MCSD, Dynamics, Oracle, SQL, SAP, or equivalent certifications will be accepted.

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must reside in NC
