Overview:

We are seeking a top-notch Survey Manager/RPLS (Registered Professional Land Surveyor) in Phoenix, AZ. This role entails overseeing the survey department in Phoenix, Arizona, and the surrounding area. We are seeking a candidate who is not only highly motivated but also capable of leading and cultivating an efficient and high-performing survey team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong inclination to establish and nurture client relationships, as well as secure survey projects. Furthermore, they should be driven to remain up-to-date with the latest technology and leverage it to continuously enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight to the survey department and projects, including responsibilities such as project scheduling, budgeting, and billing.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Engage in business development activities to expand our client base and cultivate relationships.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate survey technicians and survey parties, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of field survey parties involved in design surveys, construction staking, and other field-related tasks.
  • Organize and coordinate the work of office staff to maximize efficiency and maintain high product quality.
  • Review and certify completed work to meet all legal requirements.
  • Oversee and personally perform land survey and mapping functions, including the preparation of Subdivision Maps, ALTA Surveys, Surveys, Legal Descriptions, and Construction calculations.
  • Manage projects to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Seeking an Arizona registered Professional Land Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years' experience in overseeing and executing Land Survey projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in office production, specifically in boundary, topographic, and construction surveying.
  • Possess business development skills and experience in managing client relationships.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, MS Word, and MS Excel is highly preferred.
