Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic Surgical Services Manager for our Surgical Services department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. With a hospital and emergency department, skilled nursing facility, four healthcare clinics, occupational healthcare clinic, and an ambulance company, OVHD is well equipped to care of our incredible community.

The Surgical Services Manager coordinates total nursing care for patients in accordance with professional standards and hospital and nursing department policy and procedure. Utilizes nursing process to achieve standards of care, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, care planning, implementations, and evaluation. Leads Continuous Quality Improvement studies and writes reports as needed. Assists Charge Nurses with staffing and directs, coordinates and monitors activities of staff. Assumes 24-hour responsibility for the departments. May be assigned to work in any department according to “float cluster” policy.

Candidates must be a graduate of a RN school of nursing and possess a current California RN license. A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, 3 years of experience in an acute hospital, and management experience in health care setting is preferred but not required.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
