Manager Trainee Summary:

As a Manager Trainee you will be trained in the following areas: safety, quality, pathways trainer, and operations. The training period is up to 2 years. When successful you will be in position to move into a Supervisor or Manager role at one of our Graphic Packaging locations.

Job Functions:

  • Assist Supervisors/Managers in all daily operations
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations
  • Promote safety initiatives
  • Assist in developing, executing, and maintaining safety plans in accordance to state and federal regulations
  • Evaluate and document practices and procedures to assess safety risks
  • Ensure that all products adhere to quality standards
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to adhere, promote, and improve on quality standards
  • Assist in supervising and managing operation processes, performance improvements, and operation strategies.


Required Skills

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Bachelor’s Degree or pursing a degree in a manufacturing, engineering, or management related field preferred
  • Willing and able to relocate to other plant locations for promotions
  • Willing to work all shifts
  • Analytical and Interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Self-motivated and Goal oriented
  • Develop action plans to reach goals and objectives

Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
