Community Support Worker
Prosper Human Services Inc. is an organization in the Health and Human Services field. We provide quality services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We currently service statewide (all counties) in the state of New Jersey. Our goal is to help the ID/DD population Live a fulfilled life; Conquer any challenges that they may have and achieve all their desired valued outcomes through our supports and services.
It is our intent to provide services with the upmost passion and care possible, while always remaining in compliance with DDD rules and regulations. Our job performance says much more than words, as our staff are caring professionals who love what they do. At Prosper Human Services Inc, you are a part of a family.
We are now hiring Community Based Support Professionals in the statewide.

Job Responsibilities:
Enable an individual to attend an event, take a class, etc.
Assist an individual in participating in activities such as: assistance in completing activities of daily living, ordering off a menu, purchasing items, learning basic cooking, laundry skills, etiquette, travel training, accessing activities in the community, etc.
Give one-on-one tutoring.
Assist an individual on the job in basic self-care, social skills, and activities of daily living.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age – AND – Complete State/Federal Criminal Background checks and Central Registry checks.
Valid driver’s license and abstract (not to exceed 5 points) if driving is required.
High School Diploma.
Proof of Car Insurance.
1 year of experience with Intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification.

This team member will be responsible for providing support and emotional assistance to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with people.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
