We are seeking a qualified Supply Chain Manager at our recently acquired Percussionaire facility
located in Sandpoint, ID.

Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the
identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of company goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement and inventory teams to ensure supply continuity, quality and pricing.
Maintain supplier evaluations. Enable on-time production orders.
  • Ensure components and finished goods inventory levels that meet deliverability
requirements and low capital commitment in the short and long term.
  • Responsible for smooth and cost-optimized shipment of products to direct customers and
distributors.
  • Create and maintain procurement master data on the MRP system. Manage orders and
delivery processes.
  • Create reporting of relevant metrics to measure SCM performance.
  • Lead strategic projects and initiatives to ensure efficient and effective execution of the
above core responsibilities.
  • Enforce compliance of legal and safety regulations.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for staffing, supervision, and performance management of department
employees to include disciplinary action.
  • Checks employees’ timecards for errors and corrections
  • Participates in staff management training and effectively manage employees in compliance
with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Interview, hire, and train new department employees.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews, establish clear goals, and support learning

opportunities for job skills and career growth.

Qualifications and Education:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, management or other related discipline or equivalent work
experience required.
  • 3 –5 years progressive experience in management of materials and sourcing within a design
and manufacturing environment desired.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing, total quality, six sigma, or other similar environments.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a
manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain

positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers and customers.
